BIO

Trei Hill is an independent filmmaker, digital-media educator, and visual storyteller whose work explores film, culture, creativity, and contemporary media. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, where he teaches and mentors emerging media makers through hands-on instruction in digital production, visual storytelling, and creative technology.

With a background in film and television production and an MFA-level foundation in filmmaking, Hill brings experience across directing, editing, cinematography, motion graphics, and digital content creation. His work combines narrative craft, visual composition, and an interest in how media shapes culture, identity, and conversation.

Alongside his filmmaking practice, Hill creates educational and commentary-based content through The Trei Hill Channel, sharing film analysis, creative lessons, critiques, and conversations about media. He has also taught youth-focused technology programs covering robotics, music production, and video-game building, reflecting his commitment to making creative technology accessible to emerging storytellers.

Currently based in Jackson, Tennessee, Trei Hill continues to develop original film projects while supporting students, audiences, and fellow creators through filmmaking, education, and digital-media work.
